Route:
Former transit point Checkpoint Charlie,
the symbol of Cold War in Berlin
Kreuzberg. The well known quarter was surrounded
by the Wall from 3 sides.
Along the former "no men`s land" from Kreuzberg to Treptow
(East-Berlin). See one of the few guard-towers which survived.
Eastside Gallery, longest, still existing part of the Berlin Wall.
Passing Alexanderplatz, official centre of Berlin, capital of the
GDR (East-Berlin)
Wall-Memorial Bernauer Str., former deathstrip and transit point
at Bernauer Str.
Invalidenfriedhof. Many cemetries located in the restricted area
right
behind the Wall were destroyed by the GDR. Also parts of the Invalidenfriedhof. Here you`ll see also remnants of the border fortifications.
All along the former deathstrip from the new Government Quarter
via Brandenburg Gate to Checkpoint Charlie.
Stopps and route depend on the length of the tour and your requests. It is also possible to combine the tour with others
